He has undergone training in the field of Sleep Medicine at Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic, California, USA, one of the most prestigious sleep centers in the world. There he was actively involved in the Out-Patient evaluation & assessment as also analysis of overnight sleep records. He has also undergone a 2 weeks long intensive training programme in Therapeutic Bronchoscopy & Medical Thoracoscopy at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in Dec.2001. He was selected to be an International Observer in the Pulmonary Department of Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, USA. He was a Visiting Fellow In The Department of Pediatric Pulmonology at Royal Brompton Hospital, London, In 2002. He is a Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider after Undergoing a Vigorous Training Program Organized By American Heart Association in October 2002.
He underwent a training in Good Clinical Practices(GCP) at Mumbai, in December 2007 which qualifies him to conduct any kind of research trials. Pursuing his interests in Management And Leadership, he has undergone a training in Transformational Leadership for Healthcare management at one of the top business schools in the country, the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India in August 2011
He has worked as a Senior Registrar at three of the most prestigious hospitals of North India - Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi & Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center, New Delhi between 1997 and 1999. He was working as a consultant from 1999-2002 at Medical ICU, Department of Internal Medicine, Critical Care & Sleep Disorders At Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center, New Delhi and then as a Senior Consultant, Interventional Pulmonologist, Critical Care & Sleep Disorders And Infectious Diseases Specialist, from 2002-2009 at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center, New Delhi. Later, he was appointed as Director and Head of Department, Pulmonology, at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj And Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla, New Delhi. Currently, he is appointed as Chief of Pulmonology Services for Max Healthcare India (Cluster 1). He also has been practicing as a Senior Clinician at Sidhaashray Clinic, Eros garden, Surajkund, since 1999.
Dr.Nangia was one of the five Physicians from across the globe and the only one from India to be felicitated by her Royal Highness Princess Royal of London on successfully completing the prestigious program of infectious diseases.
